Save on gas and lodging by taking in this exhibit by two Newton artists. “Ready for My Close Up’’ by Ellen Fisher and Eric Myrvaagnes is a photographic vacation to local beaches and Western canyons. Fisher digitally transforms her shots to saturate the colors and produce images with silkscreen and etching qualities. Myrvaagnes’s technique results in a more abstract style described as fluid and intense. Today from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. (through Aug. 28). Free.
