Worcester artist James Tellin takes inspiration from such sources as rock outcroppings along the highways and formal woodblock prints in his in-depth exhibit James Tellin: Drawn from Nature / Work From the 1990s to the Present.’’ Tellin attended the Art Institute of Chicago before joining the Army in 1950 and spending six months stationed in Sendai, Japan. His abstract sculptural style encapsulates American woodworking traditions and Eastern sensibilities. Through Oct. 7. Free.
