Were you born between 1946 and 1964? Reminisce with Maureen McGovern at the Huntington Theatre Company’s “A Long and Winding Road,’’ a one-woman lovefest also starring the music of Jimmy Webb, Carole King, Bob Dylan, Randy Newman, and others. The Grammy-winning folk and pop singer, cabaret star, and musical-theater actress (dare we mention her role as the guitar-strumming nun in “Airplane!’’?) co-wrote the show with Philip Himberg. Preview tonight at 7:30 (6:30 p.m. pre-show event with members of the artistic staff; through Nov. 15). $20-$60, $5 senior and military discount, $25 for ages 35 and under. Stanford Calderwood Pavilion, 527 Tremont St., Boston. 617-266-0800. www.huntingtontheatre.org Because events can always be canceled or sold out, it’s best to call to confirm. Send event information two weeks in advance to jwulff@globe.com (please include event date on the subject line)
