Louise Arnold immortalizes machines, vehicles, and other decaying objects that litter the Vermont landscape in “ ‘America Idled,’ Paintings by Louise Arnold.’’ The artist grew up in Vermont and spent a lot of time outdoors exploring her surroundings. These memories combined with elements of light and formal structure can be seen in paintings and sketchbooks. 8 a.m.-7:30 p.m. (through Nov. 18). Free.
