Historic New England has a huge trove of material that chronicles the domestic life of New Englanders over the centuries, including 400,000 photos and 65,000 square feet of artifacts. Think late 18th-century women’s shoes, a 1908 program of Pawnee Bill’s appearance at Revere Beach, and a ticket from the opening day of the Boston subway. (Full article: 1080 words)
