James Swindell lived in Tennessee and Texas, Saudi Arabia and the Netherlands. He worked at theaters all his life, always behind the scenes, on lighting and sound and sets and house management. He was a good soul often tormented by manic depression, as his friend of 30-odd years, the composer Mark Warhol, tells it. (Full article: 649 words)
