There's no need to stifle your creativity or keep your ideas to yourself when you attend an ImprovBoston show. In fact, if you sit quietly, shows will be pretty dull on Wednesdays in January when the troupe presents "Eight to the Table." Each performance of improvised song, dance, and dialogue starts with an event or scenario suggested by the audience. The first scene is an excerpt of the suggestion, the last a tableau, and the six in the middle give the back story, motives, and plot development - in no particular order - it's improv, folks. 8 p.m. $10, $7 students and seniors. ImprovBoston, 40 Prospect St., Central Square, Cambridge. 617-576-1253. www.improvboston.com
