Stand up to cancer

There’s nothing funny about cancer, but there are several funny people raising money for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life. At Comics Against Cancer, nationally known comedians will be introduced by Steve Burr. The LA comic lost his mother to cancer and has said, “Needless to say, I’m still holding a bit of a grudge toward the disease. Let’s giggle it into the history books.’’ The lineup is Keith Alberstadt, Moody McCarthy, April Macie (below), local funnyman Jon Fisch, and many more. June 23 at 8 p.m. $20, $30.
