Invasion of the Museum People (Part 1)

So they're here. Thousands of curators and registrars and provenance researchers. Can you feel the energy? Perhaps not. But if happened to wander over to the Hynes Center, and slap down a few hundred bucks, you could get a pretty good sense of who runs our cultural institutions, and what they're thinking. I'll be at the American Association of Museums conference later today, and through the weekend. Expect regular posts here and a story in the paper on Saturday.
