Aimee Mann, the New Nat King Cole?
Just spoke with Aimee Mann, who shared the following nugget: She's now working on a Christmas album. "It's a tough assignment," she said, "because I haven't enjoyed a Christmas album since that Johnny Mathis record." Mann is still figuring out which songs to do. "It's tricky. Nobody wants to hear a bunch of weird, obscure stuff. You want to make it modern, but not so modern that it's irritating."
