The Fuller Art Museum's $65,000 Elvis

Posted by Geoff Edgers May 1, 2006 03:31 PM

We know we should get out to the Fuller Craft Museum more often... particularly after seeing a few pictures from the Brockton museum's April 22, Elvis-themed fundraiser. Along with hauling in $65,000, the party might have actually been fun. There were peanut butter and banana sandwiches and this admirable homage to the king by Board Vice-President Paul Abbott. Anybody can grow sideburns, but Abbott embraces the mid-70s era Elvis, a man who knew no pair of shades could be too large.
