Wednesday Morning Read

Here are a few worth checking out:

The controversial "King Tut" show won't be coming to Boston. But it has already set an attendance record at the Museum of Art Fort Lauderdale. (This Palm Beach Post story also reports that the Norton Museum of Art's "French Impressionism and Boston" show - which came courtesy of the Museum of Fine Arts - drew 59,380 visitors.) Next stop for Tut: Chicago's Field Museum.

Dude, the record is 8:58. And it's unlikely this guy used any of that bees wax junk on his hands. Maybe it's time to go back to your roots... bunnies from hats, ladies sawed in half...

What does the Exhibitionist do by day? He talks to Keith Lockhart and Aimee Mann.

An excellent yarn about an 18th century John Singleton Copley painting to be unveiled at the vastly underappreciated North Carolina Museum of Art.
