The Los Angeles Times reports that the J. Paul Getty Museum [pictured below] is likely to return 21 objects to the Italian government, and negotiations are continuing. Will this impact the MFA's ongoing negotiations? Probably not, since the Getty's case is unlike most others. The recent offer by the Italians to the MFA mirrors the deal made by the Metropolitan Museum of Art earlier in the year.
