Guess what. Two days after a report from one special interest group criticizing museums for not being responsive enough to victims of Nazi art looters a statement from another special interest group arrives praising museums for "making significant strides addressing Nazi-era looting." The first group? The Claims Conference. The second? The American Association of Museums.

Diller Scofidio + Renfro, the New York city architectural firm designing the new Institute of Contemporary Art, is one of five finalists to design the Clyfford Still Museum in Denver.

Mass College of Art Professor John Malcolm Russell (below) is at the center of the return of another important object to the Iraqi National Musuem.
