George Fifield Out At DeCordova

Posted by Geoff Edgers August 31, 2006 01:08 PM

The new issue of Big RED & Shiny has a scoop: The DeCordova Museum has cut George Fifield's part-time position as curator of new media.

Fifield tells Big RED the split was amicable, and he's looking forward to working with the museum in the future.

DeCordova spokesman Corey Cronin also tells us the museum plans to work with Fifield in the future. Why the cut? "We're looking at all our resources and programs and looking hard at all of our departments," said Cronin, who declined to say how much Fifield was paid. "It's budget and resources."
