Skip ahead... It is a press release, after all...

"Everyone is urged to bring a bell of any variety, large or small, to ring in the season! (We’ll ring the official 40-pound bronze RiverBell from atop the bridge and watch for Rhode Island musician Steven Jobe’s amazing reverberating “gong-drum” floating in on an illuminated Chinese Dragon Boat.) All this plus Swiss Alp Horns, conga drums and more!"
