Harvard Prof. To Help Pick Pritzker

Posted by Geoff Edgers September 11, 2006 02:35 PM

Toshiko Mori, of the Harvard Design School, is one of three architects named as new jurors of the Pritzker Architecture Prize. (Her work seen below.) Also named were Renzo Piano, who won the Pritzker in 1998, and Shigeru Ban, whose current commissions include the new Pompidou Center in France.

"The jury brings together a balance of practicing architects, educators, writers and leaders in the field of culture," said Lord Palumbo, the jury chairman, in a release. "These additions make our selection panel a truly international group, and each of the nine members has his or her own unique background for judging architecture."
