We really, really wanted to let the Lee Siegel story die. But is it really fair to keep the latest developments of the Sprezzatura incident private?
- Phony feedbacks praising Siegel, created by Siegel himself.
- Blogger Ezra Klein's take on the mess, which, we're proud to report, involves a note from his mother to Siegel.
But wait... JL offers, if not a defense, at least a reasonable point about Siegel. The guy has written things worth reading, hasn't he? They don't give out National Magazine Awards to Kitty Kelley. And Siegel does have a new book coming out.
