Monday Reads...

A few things I didn't want to slip by...

- A Globe editorial praises Artadia, which is accepting grant applications from artists through the end of January.

- The story, and the slideshow, about the artists trying to paint their way to save a chunk of land in Maine.

The NEA called. There was concern that an earlier post, about this year's Medal of Arts winners, included a photo of the 2005 ceremony. I said that was because we blogged before the 2006 photo had been taken. The NEA press person was kind enough to send along a 2006 picture.
