Do They Know It's (Not) Christmas?

Posted by Geoff Edgers September 20, 2007 11:42 AM

So an e-mail from Trinity Rep. ends up in my in-box offering a special discount for tickets to "A Christmas Carol" if they're purchased between Sept. 23 and Sept. 30. The Citi Performing Arts Center's "White Christmas" tickets are on sale now. My oh my. Does anyone care that there are still three days left of summer? I do. I'm planning to take the Buick out, roll down the windows and blast my Kinks tape on the way home. Maybe I'll head to the batting cages, or get some fried fish. But I promise you this: I will not be breaking out the tinsel, or a dreydl.
