Mass MoCA, Büchel, Gawker

Posted by Geoff Edgers September 28, 2007 01:46 PM

Truth be told, I tried to get in. Pressed the elevator button for Building 5, but alas, some smart alecky elevator operator had used modern technology - the key - to make it impossible to get the elevator to stop on that floor. I considered my options while viewing 100 attempts by Spencer Finch to capture Jackie Kennedy's pillbox hat. ONE HUNDRED.

I walked the courtyard, and the giant door to Building 5 was open a smidge. I could see a bomb, and a truck. Of course, I've walked through this entire thing before so why even try. Maybe just because.

We're professionals here, as you know, so my lame effort stopped there. No attempt to sneak through an open doorway clearly marked for museum personnel. No slipping a few greenbacks to a security guard.

Oh, and you should read this Gawker mockery, or Gawkery, on the MoCA mess.
