If you've been following the Salem schools situation, you know there's a need for some serious cash, and fast. The Peabody Essex Museum is trying to help. On Saturday, Feb. 9, PEM will host jazz singer Dane Vannatter and his quartet, with 100 percent of the proceeds - tickets are $18 for members and Salem residents, $22 for nonmembers - going to the newly formed Salem Education Fund.
