Friday Reads (And Listens)
Boy, I'm glad I chose "The Lion King" for when I take the kid to NYC next month. Because if there's one thing all media outlets seem to agree on it's that "The Little Mermaid" is a stinker.
The New York Times calls it a "musical blunderbuss" and the Washington Post declares the show "a low watermark for the Disney-on-Broadway franchise."
