This, directly from the Institute of Contemporary Art which, understandably, is proud of three honors received for its new building.

1. The Harleston Parker Medal, given to the “most beautiful building” in the greater Boston area by the Boston Society of Architects (BSA) and the City of Boston. The 65,000-square-foot museum, designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro with Perry Dean Rogers Partners, was cited for its powerful relationship to Boston Harbor and its inventive economy of means.

2. “The Making of the New ICA” has been selected for the International Festival of Films on Art. The 26th International Festival of Films on Art (FIFA) will be held in Montréal March 6 - 16, 2008. “The Making of the New ICA” can be seen in the Poss Family Mediatheque and is available for purchase in the ICA Store.

3. The MarCom Award, given for the ICA's website, recognizes creative achievement by marketing and communication professionals. There were over 5,000 entries from throughout the United States and several foreign countries in the 2007 competition.
