The only people who should be embarrassed are throwing around words like "parasite" and "whore" without having contributed anything themselves to America's cultural life. Ms. Hilton is a model, singer and entrepreneuse who has made her own way instead of taking the easy route of living on inherited wealth. Hilton's work is not for everybody but she has indisputably accomplished more at a young age than most people will do in a lifetime. If the best Harvard students and alumni can do if offer fake plaudits they are only embarrassing themselves and an institution apparently dedicated to rewarding elitism and assumed privilege rather than taking up Hilton's challenge to better themselves.
