Soho The Dog, Catching Up With

Not many do it better than Soho the Dog, known around these parts as Matthew Guerrieri. Yet there are too many days when I get bogged down and forget to click over. Why do I love this blog? For one thing, I know that this guy is smarter than I, but isn't about to turn his nose up and head to the local Mensa club mixer.

He breaks down, in translative detail, why a piece of music works (for him) or doesn't quite make the cut. He also is a fantastic comic-strip creator. And Guerrieri deserves credit for embracing popular culture - provided he has a genuine passion for the artist in question.
