ICA Artist Prize, Finalists Named

And the finalists for this year's James and Audrey Foster Prize...

Catherine D'Ignazio, Rania Matar, Andrew Witkin and Joe Zane. The artists will be part of an exhibit that runs at the ICA from November 12, 2008, to March 1, 2009. The prize winner will be announced in January.

The winner of the prize will be announced in January 2009, and receive $25,000. The other finalists get $1,500.

This year's jury includes ICA Director Jill Medvedow, Larrisa Harris, Associate Director of MIT's Center for Advanced Visual Studies, Harry Philbrick, Director of the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, Kelly Sherman, artist and recipient of the 2006 James and Audrey Foster Prize, and Philippe Vergne, Deputy Director and Chief Curator, Walker Art Center.
