New Berklee Cafe

Posted by Geoff Edgers March 6, 2008 05:14 PM

The Berklee College of Music is pushing Cafe 939, "a state-of-the-art, all-ages, student-run music venue and coffee house." It's at 939 Boylston Street, and will feature Berklee students, local artists and national acts looking for an "intimate" space in which to perform.

Cafe 939 will also embrace all genres of music.

“We don’t care if you play the saw, accordion, or electric sitar – as long as you’re good, this could be the room for you,” says Jacqueline Indrisano, Cafe 939 event manager, in a press release. “We want this to be a place where all are welcome and anything can happen.”
