Maestro Levine, out of surgery

Tom Levine sends an update on his brother, Boston Symphony Orchestra music director James Levine:

"The surgery, which took place today, went exactly as planned and expected, and has been described by the doctors involved as completely successful. There were no unexpected incidents or surprises. Maestro Levine will be in the hospital for several days, after which he will recuperate at home."
