Friday notes

The Museum of Fine Arts has hired Boston's Ann Beha Architects to put together a master plan for its campus, which will include the Forsyth Institute property the museum bought last year.

The Met is making cuts, which can't be comforting to anyone.

Later today, the Citi Performing Arts Center (Citi Center) will unveil two, new LED marquees for the Wang and Shubert Theatres. The flick of the switch takes place at 5 p.m.

You should really pick up this Sonny Rollins disc, which features the fine archival work of Maine's Carl Smith.
