Neil Diamond, Pops July 4th
Nothing against Johnny Cougar or Rascal Flatts, but Neil Diamond is definitely a step up for this year's Boston Pops Fourth of July concert at the Hatch Shell. I wouldn't expect anything introspective off one of his last two records. I would be willing to bet my "Saturday Night Fiedler" record that he will, indeed, bring out "Sweet Caroline."

Neil is still as good as he was 25 years ago in Crow Park Dublin. BRILLIANT. To see my kids all smiles was the best. great to hear Going to America Twice. Well Done Boston.
FANTASTIC! Watching the celebration now. Neil Diamond was great. Glad to see such a Patriot ic Program. Much much beter than New York. Love the Boston Pops.
a STEP UP...HE IS AN OLD, AGING MAN, AND CANNOT EVEN SING...HE YELLS EVERYTHING....HOW ABOUT GETTING SOME YOUNG BLOOD IN THERE, AND HIGHLIGHT SOMEONE WHO REALLY IS TALENTED....THIS GUY JUST RIDES HIS WAY THRU BECAUSE OF THE FAT AGING OLD WOMEN WHO FOLLOW HIM ALL OVER BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO LIVES OF THEIR OWN...AND HE DEFINITELY NEEDS AN EYEBROW JOB...COME ON......
I have watched the Boston Pops Celebration on the Fourth for many years, and I truly believe this year's was the very best. Everyone was wonderful and Neil Diamond is a classic just like Keith Lockhart, and Craig Fergenson is delightful and such a good sport. One of the many highlights I so enjoyed was the dance with Keith and Craig.
Please continue to have such classical performers as these each year.
Thank you for a beautiful performance!!!!!!!!
