Boston Ballet is heading North later this month to perform at The National Arts Center in Ottawa, Canada. On the program: George Balanchine’s Ballo della Regina, Sabrina Matthews’ ein von viel, Michel Fokine’s La Spectre de la Rose, Vaslav Nijinsky’s Afternoon of a Faun, and Jorma Elo’s Brake the Eyes.

This short jaunt - with performances on Jan. 28, 29 and 30 - will come about two-and-a-half years after Boston Ballet spent six weeks touring Spain and a year-and-a-half after the company went to South Korea.
