The art bus is coming

The Boston Art Dealers Association is looking to make it easier to get from the Newbury Street and South End art districts, hence the "Art Bus," a free shuttled taking its first trip on Saturday.

The shuttle is meant to run the first Saturday of every month, from September through June, from noon to 4 p.m. But don't just jump on. You need a pass, which is available at art galleries throughout Boston.

As for where to pick up the bus...

There will be stops on Newbury and Berkeley Streets (in front of the Church of the Covenant), Newbury and Dartmouth Streets (Fitz Inn parkling lot) and on Harrison Avenue and Thayer Street.

How will you know it's the art bus? Because it looks like this:
