Grizzly Bear at the Cutler? Why not. Dan Hirsch, known for bringing the hipsters into the Museum of Fine Arts before a stint at World Music/CRASHarts, has been hired to do the music programming for Emerson's Cutler Majestic Theatre, Paramount and the black box theater in the college's newly renovated building. The part-time gig comes after Hirsch served as concert program manager at the MFA from 2004 to 2008 and director of music programming at World Music/CRASHarts. Just a few of the bookings he brought in during that time: Antony and the Johnsons, Grizzly Bear, Dirty Projectors, Vampire Weekend, Bon Iver, The Books, Jose Gonzalez, Beach House, Joanna Newsom, St. Vincent and Sharon Jones & The Dap Kings.
