Fresh and disturbing news: In May, BMI will honor the Bee Gees as icons at the annual Pop Awards. Past recipients include Merle Haggard, Brian Wilson, and James Brown.
Perhaps, a reminder will move BMI to rescind the honor.
Jerry Lewis, Endless Loop (A Sample)
Is a sampled endless loop still a loop? Excellent question. We put up only a chunk of this so you actually go to the Shelburne Museum to see Adam Kalkin's new multi-media piece, "Jerry Lewis Palimpsest," which opened a few days ago and runs through the end of October.

Short clip of Knep, Schoenberg explained
As we build this thing, we're going to try to feature sound clips and little movies. Here are a couple:
- A video from Brian Knep, who recently became the first artist-in-residence at the Harvard Medical School. Look for the film link within the story.
- Here's an NPRish piece the Exhibitionist recorded about composer Arnold Schoenberg. The Boston Symphony Orchestra's season is almost over, but music director James Levine's Schoenberg-Beethoven pairing returns in the fall.
