'Harry Potter: The Exhibition' at the Museum of Science
Harry Potter: The Exhibition opens Oct. 25 at the Museum of Science and runs through Feb. 21. It transmutes marketing into entertainment. The show is a giant ad — and, let it be acknowledged, a slick, skillful, and highly entertaining ad — for the Potter movies. The books? Forget about the books. After all, the books dont generate income for the corporate parents of Warner Bros. Consumer Products, the creator of the show. (Read more from the Globe's Mark Feeney.)
