Treasures from Historic New England
Historic New England has a huge trove of material that chronicles the domestic life of New Englanders over the centuries, including 400,000 photos and 65,000 square feet of artifacts.
Now, with help from a three-year, $1 million anonymous grant, the non-profit institution has marked its 100th anniversary this year by launching a new website that allows the public to finally see online what it has stored for years at its headquarters on Cambridge Street in Boston and a warehouse in Haverhill.
