LOVER'S MEETING

Louis Dalton

Innocent young beautiful sensitive country girl falls in love with handsome young wild neighbor. It's true love for both. Her mother is adamant the marriage cannot take place, but father sees the boy and girl are truly in love. An aunt who lives with them sides with the lovers as she waits in hope herself for decades for her lover who went away to come back. This seriousness interspersed with great true comedy and characters of uncles, aunt, and close neighbor. The mother finally shows her husband they cannot let the young people marry. The tension holds, the drama hardens and powerfully, relentlessly, inevitably closes down to pure tragedy.
