"Monet in the 20th Century," 1998. Just when everyone thought there couldn't possibly be another Monet show for any reason other than brisk box-office business, guest curator Paul Tucker demonstrated that there was. In the first quarter of the 20th century, Monet became bigger, bolder, and more ambitious than ever, and Tucker managed to secure the loan of paintings to prove it. The show was jointly organized by the MFA and the Royal Academy of Arts, London.
