Katie Holmes
Mrs. Tom Cruise had her breakout role playing wordy Mass. teen Joey Potter on "Dawson's Creek" from 1998 to 2003 and has appeared in a string of mediocre film roles since. Holmes (right, with "Dawson's Creek" costar James Van Der Beek) makes her Broadway debut this fall as Ann Deever in a revival of Arthur Miller's "All My Sons." The production also stars fellow screen and stage actors John Lithgow, Dianne Wiest, and Patrick Wilson (whose recent film "Lakeview Terrace" just hit theaters.)
Screen credits: "Dawson's Creek," "Disturbing Behavior" (1998), and "Batman Begins" (2005).
