The Americans 10 p.m., FX

The first season has had many strong moments, even if there were plot repetitions in between. Ten episodes, instead of 13, might have better suited the story line. But Keri Russell was endlessly watchable and surprising as she circled between ice cold, kick-ass, and emotionally fearful. And Matthew Rhys showed that he can be an exciting and faceted leading man.

Dukes of Melrose 10 p.m., Bravo

Phyllis Diller, who died last August, made her final TV appearance in this reality series. The episode has stylist and boutique owner Cameron Silver visiting the somewhat frail Diller at her home and sharing a journey through her closet, which is more like a small ballroom.
