The OUT List 9:30 p.m., HBO

It is stunning, how quickly people in Hollywood have decided that coming out is no longer a kiss of career death. This documentary, part of a series including “The Black List” and “The Latino List” from director Timothy Greenfield-Sanders, features celebrities talking about leading an “out” life. It airs on the anniversary of the Stonewall riots, and in anticipation of the Supreme Court decision on same-sex marriage and equality.

Independence Day-Saster 9 p.m., Syfy

Oh Syfy, I love you forever for this. Best movie title ever. In this particular exercise in the channel’s brand of sci-fi crazy, an alien invasion cripples our military and a pair of unlikely heroes must save the planet.
