This documentary follows three idealistic public defenders – Brandy Alexander, Travis Williams, and June Hardwick — through the twists and turns of the criminal justice system in the deep South, struggling with heavy caseloads, low pay, and little administrative support. The film, which won the award for est editing at the Sundance Film Festival, also examines the Southern Public Defender Training Center.
Under the Dome 10 p.m., CBS
