Russell Crowe performs amazing Johnny Cash cover on ‘Fallon’

We knew Russell Crowe could sing after his performance as Javert in 2012’s “Les Misérables,” but his Johnny Cash cover on Thursday’s episode of “The Tonight Show” really showcased the actor’s musical chops.

Joined by host Jimmy Fallon on the harmonica, Crowe belted out a fine rendition of Cash’s “Folsom Prison Blues” while shaking his hips Elvis Presley style.

Crowe’s ability to rock out should come as no surprise to fans as he was once the lead vocals and guitarist for the Australian band 30 Odd Foot of Grunts back in the 1980s.
