Boston Marathon survivor upset at ‘Meet the Press’

A Boston Marathon bombing survivor said in a posting on Twitter that she left a Boston television studio in tears before a taping of NBC’s ‘‘Meet the Press.’’ Dancer Adrianne Haslet-Davis lost her left foot in the bombing and said Friday that she asked the national news program not to mention the suspect’s name, but the show used it. NBC News spokeswoman Erika Masonhall said Haslet-Davis was due to take part in a round-table discussion and asked that the bombing suspects’ names not be mentioned. Masonhall said that, given the nature of the discussion, ‘‘Meet the Press’’ could not make that guarantee and regrets any distress caused by the miscommunication.
