Monday

Two and a Half Men | CBS | 9:30 p.m.
Starring | Charlie Sheen, Jon Cryer, Holland Taylor
They Say | Brothers from different planets converge in Malibu. Sheen's the cool womanizer and Cryer's the neurotic with an 8-year-old son.
We Say | It gets two and a half stars for making Sheen almost likable. The post-"Raymond" slot guarantees its success.
If I Were a Movie I'd Be | "Two Men and a Baby"
Grade | B-

Skin | FOX | 9 p.m.
Starring | Ron Silver, Kevin Anderson
They Say | His dad's a porn-hating DA, her dad's a porn king. Meet Romeo and Juliet by way of Larry Flynt.
We Say | Racy themes, artsy lighting, and operatic editing can't hide the fact that this star-crossed love story is hokey, not to mention pokey.
If I Were a Movie I'd Be | "Baz Luhrmann's Justin + Kelly"
Grade | D

Las Vegas | NBC | 9 p.m.
Starring | James Caan, Josh Duhamel, Nikki Cox
They Say | A casino's bright surveillance team busts shady players. Caan's the leader, Duhamel's the cheeky protege, and Cox is his hooker best friend.
We Say | I'll see that drama, and raise the ante on Mondays at 9. A mercurial Caan heads up a strong ensemble, but Las Vegas is the real star.
If I Were a Movie I'd Be | "Croupier and Co."
Grade | A-

Also on Monday | The pop star shines as a picky single in "Eve." (UPN)
