Threat Matrix | ABC | 8 p.m.
Starring | James Denton, Kelly Rutherford
They Say | A divorced couple work in the Homeland Security Agency to keep America safe. Amid breakup angst, they outsmart terrorists.
We Say | This cookie-cutter action series is so bogged down by high-tech gadgetry, you'll be reaching for your high-tech remote.
If I Were a Movie I'd Be | "The Microsoft Peacemaker"
Grade | D
Tru Calling | FOX | 8 p.m.
Starring | Eliza Dushku
They Say | She works at the city morgue, and the corpses speak to her. Oh, and she can also go back in time to save their lives.
We Say | I hate to be un-Faith-ful, but this electronic corpse has nothing to say. The psychobabble about Tru's family is cliched, and the "Run Lola Run" shots of her in full stride are unintentionally funny.
If I Were a Movie I'd Be | "Run Viewer Run"
Grade | D
Coupling | NBC | 9:30 p.m.
Starring | Rena Sofer, Jay Harrington, Colin Ferguson, Lindsay Price, Sonya Walger
They Say | Based on the British hit, it dissects the sex lives of six Chicago singles in their 30s.
We Say | Tone deaf, strained, raunchy, it's every awful NBC singles sitcom that ever was.
If I Were a Movie I'd Be | "Carnal Ignorance"
Grade | D
Also on Thursday | "Steve Harvey's Big Time" (WB) finds this Original King of Comedy interviewing oddballs ... The folks are gone, leaving 15-to-20-something kids with the "Run of the House." (WB)
