Cayne is able
Dirty Sexy Money 10 p.m., Channel 5
A plot that has been building all season explodes tonight, as Patrick's wife learns about his affair with Carmelita, the transgender lady played by Candis Cayne. Carmelita and William Baldwin’s Patrick are probably the sweetest couple on the show, but I don’t have optimistic feelings about the future of their relationship. PS: I love it that Karen's former husband's name is Sebastian Fleet. Shades of another crazy rich family in "Brideshead Revisited," whose lost son was Sebastian Flyte.

Pushing Daisies
8 p.m., Channel 5
No, those brownies were brownies. The show is just strange.

Kid Nation
8 p.m., Channel 4
A Wii in every pot.

Monster Quest
10 p.m., History Channel
Get Kraken.

I HATE HATE
American Skinheads
9 p.m., National Geographic
Nazi much? The white-supremacist movement lives on, and this documentary looks at how it's thriving in racist skinhead culture. These people believe that whites are a genetically superior race, and they fear extinction - and take violent action - as populations of color grow. The scary hour talks to a few skinhead leaders, including Tom Metzger, the granddaddy of the American skinhead movement.

Gossip Girl
9 p.m., Channel 56
Blair's Super Sweet 17th.

100 Most Wanted Bodies
9 p.m., VH1
I despise VH1.

The Safety of Objects
Comcast
The writer-director Rose Troche weaves a handful of A.M. Homes stories about malfunctioning suburbanites into a heartfelt but benign collection of overlapping lives. Four families quietly struggle with the fallout of a car crash. Troche nails the hissing of summer lawns, only to let her well-acted movie twirl in circles like a yard sprinkler. With Glenn Close and Patricia Clarkson, Dermot Mulroney, and Mary Kay Place. (R; runs through Nov. 29 on Encore) - Wesley Morris
