Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer
Could there be a more inconsequential superhero blockbuster than the two "Fantastic Four" movies? This second installment presents a major "global disturbance" caused by the restless Silver Surfer, who's prepping the earth to be eaten by a giant dust cloud. But as a dull point of irony, the big news is Reed and Sue's wedding. Will it be postponed so they can save the world again? The stakes are rarely high enough for us to care. (PG runs through April 24) - Wesley Morris
