HERE'S THE STORY
The Singing Bee
8 p.m., Channel 7
Tonight’s episode is for diehard fans of classic TV, also known as people who don’t have lives. Host Joey Fatone (above with the Honey Bee Dancers) will test the contestants on their knowledge of TV theme songs. Most current shows don't open with songs that have lyrics, so the bulk of tonight's selections will be old school. I already have the answer to one test: "The professor and Mary Ann..."

Moonlight
9 p.m., Channel 4
A repeat of "Moonlight." Yes, it has come down to that.

Paula's Party
9 p.m., Food Network
S'mores brulee. For easy assembly at a feu de camp, no doubt.

Beaches
8 p.m., TV Land
You'll have a bawl.

HUGH BET
House
10 and 11 p.m., USA
You "House" freaks out there may not know this, but USA airs old episodes of the show on Friday and Saturday nights. The series is only in its fourth season, so chances are that you've already seen all the episodes. Tonight's first episode is about a gay man with AIDS, and the second is about Chase dealing with a disciplinary hearing.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
7:10 p.m., More Max
Unforgettable.

Bruce Almighty
8 p.m., Channel 25
Forgettable.

ON DEMAND
The Invisible
Comcast
Beaten and left for dead, a teenager finds his soul wandering among the living, begging to be noticed. Like the girl in the poetry class says, "It's a metaphor, dummy." A fully felt youth melodrama that probably won't speak to anyone except adolescents certain the world is arrayed against them - but to them it'll speak loud and true. Co-starring Margarita Levieva. (PG-13; runs through March 15) - Ty Burr
